Our healthy eating/wellbeing programme, *Nutritious & Delicious" is central to all the menus at Vacherin. These menus are designed for staff restaurants, hospitality and conferencing. Nutritious & Delicious was born with the busy employee in mind and the importance of the meals eaten in the workplace during daytime hours.
Eating healthily is vital to keep the brain and body sharp and at its most productive. The Nutritious & Delicious healthy eating programme has been developed by a team of Vacherin food professionals, headed up by our nutritionist Gary Baverstock. Gary provides analysis and guidance on all our menus, with nutritional breakdowns, focusing on beneficial qualities of dishes and individual ingredients, as well as highlighting dishes that contain common allergens or items that can cause intolerance.
The Nutritious & Delicious branding and imagery enables us to communicate to our customers the nutritional benefits and content of dishes, making it easy for customers to choose foods to help them in the way that is right for them. The four categories are:
The programme is backed up by substantial information for customers to access online through our health and wellbeing website and also in the form of marketing material within the units for our customers to take away.
Gary holds discussions on emerging trends in the world of health and wellbeing and how to incorporate these ideas into menus. Gary is also available to hold private nutritional consultations with individual customers or an 'open surgery' for an afternoon by request.
