Celebrating our Apprentices at the House of Commons!

At Vacherin, we take immense pride in our apprenticeship programs, which currently boast 38 enthusiastic participants across our Group Apprenticeship Academies. These programs not only facilitate professional growth but also add substantial value to our team dynamics.

Recently, we had the honour being invited to take four outstanding apprentices from various divisions of CH&Co to the House of Commons. Rubbing shoulders with Ministers and MPs, they championed the cause of hospitality apprenticeships, sharing their remarkable journeys and insights with eloquence and passion.

Vacherin was represented by Mark Craber, our very own Executive Chef at a bustling central London site, currently pursuing the Level 4 - Senior Culinary Programme.

Reflecting on his experience, Mark said, “Being part of this program has truly been transformative. Not only has it allowed me to expand my knowledge and skills, but it has also instilled a sense of value and empowerment within me as an employee of Vacherin. The camaraderie among fellow chefs on the course is invaluable; sharing insights and expertise ultimately elevates the level of service we provide to our clients.”

The event, coinciding with National Apprenticeship Week, served as a poignant reminder of the indispensable role apprentices play in our industry and the vast array of opportunities available to them.

Now, more than ever, it's crucial to spotlight the positive influence apprenticeships wield, not just on individuals but also on the businesses they serve. This celebration underscored the transformative power of apprenticeships, shaping futures and fostering excellence in the hospitality sector.
