Silvano Giraldin trains our team at London Stock Exchange

Our hospitality team at London Stock Exchange underwent a training session in fine dining service and customer care conducted by Silvano Giraldin, the legendary head of front of house from Le Gavroche.

Silvano joined Le Gavroche in 1971 as General Manager, and was made Restaurant Director in 1987. He remains as non-executive director, as well as running his own restaurant consultancy. In his 47 years associated with Le Gavroche he has maintained exemplary standards of excellence, retaining 2 Michelin stars for 40 years, as well as winning countless other awards. Le Gavroche is regarded as the finest of fine dining restaurants, and yet the food and service have moved with the times to ensure that it is never less than full. Silvano’s eye for detail and unique approach to customer service proved inspirational to our team, with Hospitality Manager Mike Schmidt saying:

“We were delighted that Vacherin arranged such insightful front of house service training so early in the tenure of the contract with LSEG. Silvano, having such wonderful service experience was inspirational to myself and the team. I was impressed that Vacherin had such high end connections and could arrange this training at such short notice.

Silvano provided an insightful break down on the service journey and covered the full spectrum of dress code, body language, subtle communication tips, in house communication and product knowledge amongst other areas. Myself and the team cannot wait for a return visit from Silvano in order to fine tune our skills further. Thank you Vacherin and Silvano!”
