Our Head Chef at Cromwell House, Andi, has dedicated a lot of his time to the charity Mike’s Table, set up in memory of his friend Mike Redmayne. This week, he helped to prepare a meal made entirely from food that would otherwise have been wasted. Andi used one of his volunteer days to source, collect and prepare waste food, ready for the evening meal. The meal was served at the London School of Economics, and the profits go directly to providing a similar meal for free to guests from disadvantaged backgrounds, such as refugees and homeless or socially isolated people. It’s fantastic to see Vacherin staff making real impacts in their community, particularly during Charity Month, well done Andi!
