As part of our commitment to innovation and great coffee, we partnered with Sproud to introduce Sproud Barista as our plant-based milk of choice across Vacherin sites - making us the only contract caterer in the UK to offer Sproud within our locations.
This partnership reflects our desire to bring forward-thinking choices to our clients and customers. Sproud Barista offers a genuinely inclusive alternative to dairy, free from common allergens and intolerances, while delivering on taste, texture and performance, ensuring everyone can enjoy great coffee without compromise.
Made from yellow split peas, Sproud Barista has a naturally creamy texture and neutral flavour that lets the coffee shine. It’s high in protein, enriched with essential vitamins and calcium, certified low sugar by Sugarwise, and suitable for a wide range of dietary needs. Behind the bar, it performs beautifully, creating smooth lattes and consistently foamy cappuccinos our baristas love working with.
To bring the partnership to life, the Sproud team went on tour during June and July, hosting activations across 16 Vacherin sites. Through free coffee mornings, curated menus and hands-on engagement, customers were able to experience the benefits of Sproud first-hand. Sproud has also supported several standout Vacherin moments this year, including Slam Down and Crush the Rush as well as One Planet Plate, helping to build excitement and awareness among both our teams and our clients.
