Crush the Rush 2025 brought together our barista teams for one of the most high-energy and fast-paced coffee competitions in the Vacherin calendar.
Across the day, 22 teams competed in a series of timed rounds designed to push technical skill, teamwork and composure under pressure.
The atmosphere throughout the event was electric, with every station operating at full intensity as teams worked to deliver exceptional coffee while maintaining accuracy and consistency.
A distinguished judging panel included UK Latte Art Trainer Lily Jones, World Barista Champion Dale Harris, Q Grader Tim Sturk and Katie Osborne from La Marzocco UK — bringing deep industry expertise to the competition floor.
With prizes including Sage coffee machines and a visit to the La Marzocco factory in Italy, the stakes were high, but the spirit of collaboration and community remained central to the event.
