Vacherin partners with Dynamify to provide our new app technology

We are delighted to announce that we have chosen Dynamify’s mobile ordering platform to transform our catering operations for the digital age and in readiness for the reopening of our clients’ workplaces as the UK begins its Covid-19 exit strategy.

The Vacherin app by Dynamify allows customers to skip the lines with preordering and mobile self-checkout functionality. The app automatically handles payments, loyalty and receipts. This method of contact-free ordering is particularly important during COVID: virtual queuing promotes social distancing, while contactless payments and paperless receipts and loyalty remove unnecessary human contact. We are rapidly mobilising the app across our sites and working with our clients on communicating the new measures and technology that we have put in place.

Phil Roker, our Managing Director, said: “Dynamify’s preordering technology substantially enhances our offer to clients and customers - giving us a competitive edge as we work with our clients to transform their workplaces to create a safe environment for their staff and our on-site catering teams.”

Dynamify’s plug-and-play cloud platform enables us to set-up a workplace restaurant for digital ordering in under 2.5 minutes - with no external visitors required for installation. Restaurant staff then save 60 seconds per customer order made through the app by removing the need to enter customers’ orders into the point-of-sale, process cash and card payments, or handle receipts and loyalty stamps.

Zoë Watts, our Commercial Director, said: “After beginning an extensive search of the market in 2019, Dynamify emerged as the clear market leader. The platform is incredibly quick to deploy, easy to use and key to reopening sites and supporting the social distancing measures that we will be implementing to mitigate the risks associated with Covid-19.”

Historically, contract caterers have captured limited, anonymised data. Dynamify’s GDPR-compliant platform captures rich, non-anonymised customer data with every order. This allows clients to understand and market to their consumers like never before.

Maxwell Harding, Dynamify’s Founder & CEO, said: “The contract catering industry was already having its ‘digital or die’ moment - but that has been significantly accelerated by coronavirus. Now, in order to reopen their sites post-lockdown, caterers are having to undergo years of digital transformation in weeks. In addition to all of the usual benefits of our platform - such as enhancing the customer experience, capturing customer data and operational efficiencies - virtual queuing promotes social distancing and cashless payments lower contact. Crucially, Dynamify’s turnkey platform has enabled Vacherin to achieve this overnight. We look forward to supporting Vacherin as they continue to grow rapidly.”
